Stuffs

Ok...some people ask me how I made my website and what softwares I used. I will not be teaching you how to make websites but will redirect you to pages that offers tutorials, and ideas for making websites. I have links here of some softwares you can use/buy if you are interested in building your own homepage.

So first of all, the softwares I use:

Adobe Photoshop

I really love this software. I use Adobe to make most of my graphics. Photoshop is a graphics editor developed by Adobe and is used mainly for image manipulation. This software can be quite pricey but if your intention in the web industry is strong and true, then this is a good investment.

Microsoft Frontpage

Microsoft Frontpage is one of the first softwares I used when I first started out with building websites. Frontpage is a HTML editor and web site admistration tool from Microsoft. One of the cool things about the frontpage is, if you can't be bothered making your own templates and doing your own layout, Frontpage has a built-in support for automated web templates which includes automatic navigation system that creates animated buttons for your links. But you wouldn't want to use that would you? It's cooler to start from scratch - hehehe!

Dreamweaver

After graduating from Microsoft Frontpage, I jumped into Dreamweaver. To be honest, it is one of my best buys yet. It is very pricey but worth every cent. Dreamweaver, like Frontpage, is a web development tool, originally created by Macromedia. But before you buy something pricey such as this, I suggest you learn HTML first on your text editor or notepad found in your accessories. Personally, this is a great software for making websites specially if you are technically challenged! Cough! Cough!

Smart FTP

I use this for uploading my newly made website into internet. Cool stuff!

Windows Paint

Believe it or not, I still use this software which came free with my operating system...that's if you're a Windows user. It is a simple graphic painting program. It comes in handy once in awhile!

Now for the cool part!!!

So let's talk HTML. So you want to learn how to make websites. The idiot proof tutorial I recommend is Lissa Explains. Lisa was just a child when she first started this web site teaching kids HTML. It is fun and very straight forward.

Here is a favourite tutorial of mine. Easy and smooth sailing at W3Schools.

If you are looking for a place to set up your website, Brinkster is a perfect host with reasonable prices and topnotch service.
